Whether a patient is suitable or not for cosmetic dentistry treatment can only be confirmed once a professional dentist had carried out an examination. However, the following type of patients most definitely cannot get orthodontic treatment:

Patients with gingivitis or periodontitis must go through treatment before even considering orthodontic treatment if not the position of the teeth are not stable and are possibly even loose.

Those suffering from high blood pressure or heart disease may not be able to handle cosmetic dentistry procedures so they must consider their own health and wellness.

Blood related illnesses and blood clotting disorders are also not suitable.
